La Treille 

La Treille is in the small village of St Hilaire du Bois, in the bocage region of the sud Vendée. The closest town is Fontenay le Comte, originally the capital of the department and full of beautiful Renaissance buildings; the lovely towns of La Rochelle, Nantes and les Sables d’Olonne are all about an hour’s drive. The closest beach is around fourty five minute’s drive.

If you are coming by air, La Treille is about an hour from the international airports of La Rochelle and Nantes - served by Ryan Air, Easyjet, FlyBe, BA and AerAraan.

If you are coming by train, the TGV comes in to both Nantes and Niort, both an hour's drive.

If you are taking the ferry, St Malo is about three hours away, Caen around four and a half hours and Roskoff around five hours
